No matter which smartphone you purchase, it always comes with an app that lets you set alarms. While the default alarm settings are good enough for users most of the times, there are situations where-in you may want to tweak some key settings.
In this article, we will discuss how you can change snooze and silence time for alarms on Android Marshmallow. Please note that all instructions mentioned in this tutorial have been tested on a Google Nexus 5 running Marshmallow version 6.0.1.
Change snooze and silence time for alarms in Marshmallow
For this, the first step is to launch the Clock app on your device:
Then, tap the overflow menu, and select the Settings option.
In the window that opens, scroll down to the Alarms section.
As you can see, the two options 'Silence after' and 'Snooze length' will let us do what we want. By default, both are set at 10 minutes, but you can tap the options and select any other available value.
