Hyper-V is a feature in Windows 10 that needs to be turned on before you can run guest operating systems. This article is written to teach you to enable Hyper-V in windows 10 and 8.1.
Enabling Hyper-V in Windows 10
Step 1: Type in Hyper-V in a search bar. "Turn Windows features on or off" will pop up, click on it. Check all Hyper-V options and click OK.
Step 2: Reboot your computer and you are done with installing Hyper-V on Windows 10
Enabling Hyper-V in Windows 8.1
Step 1: Go to Control Panel -> Programs -> Turn Windows features on or off. Check Hyper-V Platform option and click OK.
Step 2: Reboot your computer so that this new feature can be added
