How to Change Date and Time Format in Windows 10

Windows 10 comes with a feature that allows you to customize the date and time formats to any formatting you want. In this guide, I'll walk you through the steps to customize the date and time format of your Windows 10 PC.

Step 1: Open Windows Settings.

Step 2: Click on Time and Language.

Step 3: Click on Date and Time.

Step 4: In the format section, click on "Change date and time formats".

Step 5: Use the short date drop-down menu to select the date format you want to see in the task bar.

Step 6: Use the short time drop down menu to select the time format you want  to see in task bar.

You can select various date and time formats using the settings. However, you can not add custom formats. If you would like to add a custom format, use the control panel.

Step 1: Open the control panel.

Step 2: Click on Region.

Step 3: In the Formats tab, click on Additional settings.

Step 4: Click on the Time tab.

Step 5: Under time formats, you can change the various aspects of the time format.

Step 6: Click on the Apply button.

Step 7: Click OK.

Step 8: Click on the Date tab.

Step 9: In date format settings, you can change the different aspects of the date formatting.

Step 10: Click on Apply.

Step 11: Click OK.

Step 12: Click Apply again.

Step 13: Click OK.

Once you are done, you will notice the new format for date and time in your task bar.
