Before beginning the factory reset phase, be sure to back up your files. Otherwise certain important data might be irreparably lost. Windows 10 factory reset
To factory reset Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step.
Click the Search button on the taskbar. Type Settings in the search box and then click the Settings option as the following image is showing.
As soon as you click the Settings option, the Windows Settings screen will appear as follows.
Click the Update & Security option from the Windows Settings screen as highlighted in the above image. As you click this Update & Security option, the following screen will display in front of you.
As you can see that the screen is divided into two parts. Choose the Recovery option from the left side of the screen as highlighted in the above image. Then the following screen will appear.
Here click the Get started button under Reset this PC section as highlighted in the above image. As you click the Get started button, now you have two options as the following image is showing.
Choose any one option as per your choice. You will see the message on the next screen, telling you what will happen when you reset your computer. According to the approach selected in the previous screen, this message will be different as the following image is showing.
Now click the Reset button as highlighted in the above image. The factory restore process will be started after this. It will take some time and on completion, the PC will reboot.
