Windows laptops also let you tap the touchpad or trackpad with one or more fingers to simulate clicks. In this article, we will guide you through the whole procedure to enable this Touchpad function on Windows 10.
Enable click on tap for Windows Touchpad
To disable or enable pressing the Touchpad on Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step.
Click the Search button on the taskbar. Type Settings in the search box and then click the Settings option as the following image is showing.
As soon as you click the Settings option, the Windows Settings screen will appear as follows.
Choose the Devices option as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you click the Devices option, the following screen will appear.
As you can see that the screen is split into two parts. Select the Touchpad option from the left side of the screen. Then check the Tap with a single finger to single-click and Tap with two fingers to right-click checkboxes as highlighted in the above image. You can also do some settings by clicking the Additional settings option as the following image is showing.
The additional settings will open the following dialogue box.
Click the Touchpad Settings option as highlighted in the above image. Then you can change the settings by the following screen.
