Click the Search button on the taskbar. Type Device Manager in the search box and then click the Device Manager option, as shown in the figure below.
Once you click on the Device Manager option, the following screen will appear in front of you.
Now locate the Disk Drives option as highlighted in the image above. Click on the arrow of the Disk Drives option and the following options will be displayed.
Under the Disk Drives option, you will see some drives. Right click on them and a menu will open. Then select the Properties option from the menu that pops up, as highlighted in the image above. When you click on the Properties option, the following dialog box will appear.
Select the Remove Quickly (Default) option and then click the OK button as highlighted in the image above. Now close the Device Manager screen.
You can safely uninstall this particular USB drive without ejecting it first when there is no write operation in progress.
