Windows 10 provides an integrated interface for shrinking and expanding partitions in Disk Management. No more resources provided by the third party. It is important to note that any third party services will be richer in features, but without adding something new, you can do the very simple stuff in Windows. To redimension a free partition in Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step.
Click the Search button. Type Disk Partitions in the search bar and choose the Create and format hard disk partitions option as the following image is showing.
As soon as you will choose the Create and format hard disk partitions option, the following screen will appear.
Choose the disk and right click the selected disk as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you right click the disk, the following menu will open.
Choose the Shrink Volume option as highlighted in the above image. The following dialogue box will appear.
Now enter the amount in the text box named Enter the amount of space to shrink in MB. Then click the Shrink button as highlighted in the above image.
You will shrink the partition successfully.
